Next Stop, Jungle Warefare Training

I love this stuff. When you go to the Jungle Warefare Training on island you can just plan on being brown. Not like splotched with brown, or dirty; just one color all over. BROWN. these were Navy seabees going through the course. Our unit will be getting into one of these exercises. Basically you have forced marches, timed 3 mile endurance courses, living in the pure hell that is the Okinawa jungle.

I ask you, what could be better?

Is that like an inside joke or something? I was never in the military so I wouldn't know.

. . .Well, I could say Basic Training in The British Army, but that would be basic training twenty years ago, mate!

Yes, but it's not so much the fact that we trained with them, more what we could do with them when training was finished!!
These days, they let mummy and daddy stay over when their son/daughter isn't feeling well, or has lost their friends!
