Fall Asleep Movies

Solaris

I like the movie but after seeing it for the 5th time I start getting drowse mid way through. A couple catnaps later and I’m awake again to see the movie is still on. Another 40 winks , I come around and the movie is still going. I doze off and start to snooze , then awaken again to find the movie is still there. Finally I fall fast asleep and wont wake up for a couple hours to turn off the TV. I think the melody tune makes difficult to stay awake.

Apocalypse Now

Yes , a good all around action pack movie all the way towards the end. Then all the action has left the building and I’m left falling asleep again.

I don't get to watch my programs on TV, normally when the wife wants to see a film or whatever. Problem is, 5 mins into the film she is always (and I stress the always!) asleep. leaving me to sit and watch the damn thing by myself. And then she has the cheek to complain that I must let her watch the film she missed the night before, and so it all starts again. I can find myself watching a film 4 or 5 times before she's content that she's seen it herself!

Why not turn it off as soon as she falls asleep?

Every time I start watching a movie, my wife drags me to bed... mind you I didn't say anything about sleep. TMI? Too bad. You asked :P

Yes, it's a popular theme - using the noise freom the TV to drown out other activities . . . . . . .
