you using some kind of AA gun to get that many? :)

I enjoy going shooting, tho it's mostly at clays, rather than the real thing

I use a Browning Upland Special O/U with 26" barrels and choked Mod/Light Mod. Copper 5's at 1300fps 1.25 oz.

We hunt at a game preserve in White Lake S.D. You still work your ass off walking the fields, mostly silage corn rows, but at least you will get birds up. Last year I went 4 times here in Kansas and never saw a phesant. I got 15 this year...some were beautiful shots and some were some crazy, wild assed shots as the birds imitated the blue angels. Hell one of the guys had his wife out with us and she got 4...(well really 2, I doubled her on a bird but played dumb and gave it to her....etc...) and did real well for a 1st time out.

anyway had a real good time, shot a lot of birds, and had some good walks.

all in all....for about 700 bucks....a good time

i kinda miss hunting bird in eastern oregon..

i just ran around in the hills me and my little single shot 20 guage :P

never realy went on any major bird hunts per say, just clinking whats in season mostly.. got quite a few quail but hardly worth it for the meat but tasty little bugers... some pheasants, and some grouse. both blue grouse and what we called 'chuckers' ( not sure what type, but they were generaly brown with orange legs and feet )

it was a royal hoot.

even been shot by quail hunters before hehe. was a long ways off. it was the oddest thing ive ever been threw. you could hear the bird shot hitting the vegetation as it came towards you. i was like ' what the hell!?' i firgured it out right before it hit and turned my back to it. stung like all get out lol.

oh the good ol days of youth....
