If it’s space combat I’ll check it out. I’ll also read up a bit to see what kind of Wars there talking about. I like the back ground of the web site tho and respect the fact that they have a rack structure.

i played a open beta to this i think long time ago on the zone... or maybe it was a demo. what ever hehe..
alligence the game was setup as a space craft sim if i recall right. there was something about having to pay subscription ( i think) so i passed on it.

no, microsoft actually released the source code... this game has had all of the bugs fixed and it has been enhanced. it is totally free...
it is space flight, except for the team commander who is tactical/strategic commander.
you have to have multiple folks to play.
i now have a dedicated server set up and running. you will see it in the server list as [San Diego][DS3]a+15b2 WoF's Game. you can connect any time, expcept you need at least 2 people. standard password (also listed in servers forum - if you do not see the servers forum PM me and I will fix - or ask a WoF'er on Ventrilo).
this actually might be really cool. i think perhaps we can play some team vs team internally between ELH and WOF, then go into the world and get our asses kicked together.
to get up and running, go to the site and register. close all browser windows. go to your e-mail and confirm. then go to play at the top of the web page. download per instructions, create your asgs login while waiting for the download to complete. you must have microsoft .net framnework installed. if you do not, go to wondows update and install .net framework 1.1 and then go back and install sp1 for the .net framework 1.1. then run the installer you downloaded. log in with the asgs callsign you created. click on free games and the autoupdater will run. you might try connecting to the dedicated server at this point just as a test. then back out to main menu and do the training. there is also a lot of documenation on the web site for learning how to play.
callsigns: i registered as _WOF. other WOF'ers please do the same. ELH'ers can register as _WOF or _ELH (sorry, did not think that far ahead when I registered...). Maybe later if this catches on we can create a new group tag or just tell everyone we are allies and to treat us as one and the same...

DLed and installed this last night. Not bad at all, why didn't I see this game when it was out? Maybe it was because it was a pay to play game? Regardless, I went through some of the tutorials (Can you believe it has detailed tutorials) and I have say, this is a pretty impressive game so far. Not too complex, not too easy.
