Guess this film from the brief description:
Masterless Samurai (Ronin) is minding his own business and strolling along a dusty path when he comes across a small town which is dominated by two crime factions who are vying for control. The Ronin decides to play both sides and see which one will pay him more for his services. He ends up betraying both sides and gets in trouble and really beat up and humiliated but then manages to escape and recuperate. In the end, he walks down the dusty central street in town and faces off against several of the remaining henchmen and defeats them all.

Nah, it's a Clint Eastwood 'spaghetti western'. I saw it just recently, but I can't remember which one it was. I wanna say 'A Fistful of Dollars'.
Okay, I'll say it: 'A Fistful of Dollars'.

All of you are WRONG!
Movie is Yojimbo. The movie on which all the Spaghetti Westerns of Clint Eastwood/Sergio Leone were based on.

Guess the movie from these clues:
1. Takes place in the year 1758
2. British fighting French
3. Great soundtrack
