Guys, that is hardly swearing. We like to refer to that as cursing, some can be said to blaspheme even depending on the content - but swearing? Nah!! There's much better than that to be heard from one's mouth. . . . . . LOL! :lol:

Yeah, that's right! But like any of those cursing style comments, the actual meaning seems irrelevant to the message you are conveying by recital!!
One of the worst things you can say to any given German person is to call them a "flasche" - it draws some seriously daft looks from people when you use it! But to us, it simply means "bottle" - hardly worth getting out of your seat to smack someone for, right? And more likely to make you laugh than anything - which it did, this one time at band-camp . . . . . anyway long story short, I was laughing so hard the guy up and walked off in disgust! My g/f at the time said, "He really insulted you there! And all you could do was laugh?" Until I explained what it meant to me, I used harsher language than that when I was 10 years old I said!! :lol:
