Quick Tip #1

Post by Hudson »

When jumping up from your Gunner position on the Mk19 make sure you do NOT have your foot caught up underneath the tripod (how it got underneath in the first place I have no idea) before jumping up and spinning around to walk away from the weapon. Failure to do so may result in a fractured tibia and dislocated fibia.

Apparently a very real hazard, because I watched a kid do it! Fucking left his ankle screwed around backwards, no exageration. Damn that looked like it hurt, but with that kinda owe, do that again sort of appeal. I felt so bad for that SOB.

Yep! I can believe that probably did hurt somewhat.

Here's the rest

OK, as promised there are a few more pics (only about 5), and some videos of the M249's and M240G's firing together on the line, the .50's going, and then a quick one of the Mk19's, just as my battery died. We had 700 High Explosive Dual Purpose rounds and I don't think I got anything but a few practice rounds (blue paint and smoke) on the camera... :(
