Obviously a controlled explosion, probably of recovered weapons and ammo. You can see the ripple effect from left to right of the charge sequence. We used to do this two or three times a year in BATUS, Canada. Although not all were of such magnitude, ther were a few few biggies. We also had an incident there just before we arrived, where a young officer and his driver were located way too close, and consequently the officer was struck on the head with flying debris (no helmet either! :roll: ). Just one inch the wrong way, he wouldn't be around to tell the tale. He doesn't like talking about it though, cos he knows it was friggin studipity to have been there.
