Sword of the Stars Hands-on

IGN Review: June 30, 2006

Sword of the Stars is a bit like the early Total War series from Creative Assembly. Only in this case, star systems act as territories and infantry and cavalry are replaced with heavily armed destroyers and dreadnaughts in smaller scale battles. Players will have to navigate through the star charts, establish new colonies, and eventually take control of the galaxy on a strategic scale while leading armadas in the tactical battles.

They came out with a demo for this. I’m going to try it out and see what it’s like. I’ll come back and let you know if I’m that impressed
