looks like one of the mods included with the portal is preventing the avalanche of new users that want to spam the board from registering...

I like Spam on camping trips. Up in the high altitude of the rocky mountains , a good spam and mustard sandwich is an awesome lunch before you pick up your pole and go fishing.
As for internet spamers..
