I bought my X800 XT in Jan 05, just as the X850s came out, so it was close to 6 months old at the time.
Unfortunately, ATI was one generation late to the SM3 party and now, 2 years later, I finally pay the price.

I need to ckeck but bettign my laptp can handle it. But when the ram hits I well see if the demo works.

Vegas will run ok as long as you have at least 1 gig of RAM.

Ok well the Go 7600 has SM3 tech. So now the ram should be here by tomrow afternoon putting me to 2 gigs form 512 (THANK YOU GOD). Well take my laptop from a nice toy to speed demon.

ok, i tried this and it works great. the hud and snake cam look a little funny, but it's by far worth it to get the full screen of the game. I'll have to look for similar fixes for other 4:3 games.
