this is free as it is based upon the freespace open engine and it is standalone. these folks have been working on this for a long time.
if you have the time and inclination to download and try this, please post and let the rest of us know what it is like!

doh, i just downloaded this over the weekend - haven't installed it yet. I'd like to see it, since I loved the original WC game.

Finally I'm downloading it, will it work on VISTA I guess I will find out huh. When will the full version come out???
