What's Running (Program/Utility)

Post by Softball »

I was reading through my monthly "PC" Magazine and they mentioned this nifty little utility for the PC. It's called "What's Running", it's similar to the Windows Task Manager, but shows a lot more indepth info. You can right click on anything in a list and it will search the web and give you more info on it. You can see just about EVERYTHING that is system related with this program. Check it out, it's a small DL (1-2MB).

If you see something like browserhighjack.exe running under tasks, that's probably a bad thing right? PDT_Armataz_01_12

Here's another goody that you can replace windows default task manager with that breaks everything down that is running on your pc.
Its called Process Explorer.

Where do you see task in this program?

It was actually a joke. I think browserhighjack.exe shows up as spyware if you do a spyware scan. It does not show up under the Windows Task Manager.
