I just listened to part of the podcast...that was no little boat.Buffalo Six wrote:and break his little boat
It was a museum-quality replica that was leased for use on the show. It wasn't scripted for Olmos to break it, he did it in the spur of the moment when filming the scene. He didn't know it wasn't just a prop.
It cost several hundred thousand dollars.
Fortunately for them it was insured!

If you recall, the boat had been in a few eps already and while someone might have made an offhand comment to him on its first appearance, it was just one of those things.
He'd always been careful, why warn him again? Also, a moment like that is a one-take deal unless you have extra props, but it was spontaneous and he hadn't planned it. I don't know if that was the first take or a later one, but it was definitely the LAST one.

Yep. They did that for Season 3 too. Last show was Feb/March of 06, and the show didn't start again until Oct 06.
I did hear on the SciFi channel that they are going to show a special (2) hour episode/movie in August 07 to connect the two seasons.

I found that the (2) episode show in August is going to be a flashback of Pegasus and some of the things leading into Season 4.
