Ghost Rider
Avoid this movie at all costs. I made the mistake of watching it last weekend and it was a stinker. The dialogue was bad and the story was almost totally uninteresting. Eve Mendes is a hot actress but she has zero acting talent. She was terrible. This is easily one of worst comic book movies I've ever seen. You know its bad when you keep looking at your wristwatch every 10 minutes while the movie is still going.

As for GR, I've read lots of mixed reviews; most folks who liked it said it was a fun 'popcorn' movie. Probably won't see it until it's on HBO or something. Never been a big fan, although I did have some of the comics back in the 70s.

Thanks for the heads up Panzer. Just curious though, have you read the Ghost Rider comics, and if so how close was the movie to the comic?
I thought Fantastic 4 was alright, albiet a bit on the short side. How can you not like Jessica Alba?
I liked Daredevil as a kid, he was my hero of choice. Something about his handicap (blind) and fighting ability drew me to him.
I probably have over 100 Daredevil comics from back in the day, along with many other comics. I should dig them out and see what
they are worth now.

No, I have not read any of the comic books. I guess it's possible that I may have liked the movie more if I had been familiar with the comics. When I was growing up, the only comics I read regularly were Transformers, GI Joe and Star Wars.Softball wrote:Thanks for the heads up Panzer.
