Interesting list from IGN. IL-2 was the only flight sim on the list.

lets see what have I or am I playing now

il2, 1946 is just that game with addons right
Unreal tournament 2004, man that killed a LOt of my time
Mechwarrior 2, I played it but I mostlay played mechwarrior 2 mercenaries
Grim Fandango man did this ever lag my pentium 120
StarCraft dam AI was just incredible
Star Wars TIE Fighter one of the best starwars titles ever heard of
Civilization IV again fun game

I would have expected at least one of the C&C series games to be on that list as well. And note that the list is mostly rather new titles. So do not think they are doing the all time games, but maybe the ones IGN remembers.

Same here. I played tons of Tie Fighter when I first bought the game back in 1994. I had many sleepless nights with that one. Of all the space combat Star Wars games, "Tie Fighter" had the absolute best storyline.

Where the hell is Syndicate/Syndicate Wars. I'm still waiting for my frakkin remake of that. What about Wolfenstein or Doom. They only ushered in FPS's. Why is Half Life 2 any more ground breaking than the original Half Life. You're gonna say best 25 of all time and that's your list? I can come up with 25 games better than all of those. ARGH!
