You want to see? I am the guy with the orginial optimus prime Mint In Box with the stickers still unapplied. For their sake it had best be damn good too, because if they ruin my last happy childhood memory I swear I will make them pay!

The new collecotr's are as close as they can make with modern toy laws. Some of the springs have been removed (like the one that launches the refueler from Optimus Primes trailer) and some missiles are much longer (Optimus Prime's trailer comes to mind again, Starscream, etc al.) because the originals fall under choking hazard laws.

It was also one of the reasons there was no Megatron while I was still buying those. Looked WAY too much like a real gun to get him passed the laws. They were trying to get him through under some alternate laws (collector's, or something rather than toy) and also considering an orange version, but last I checked none of that panned out... guess there is a reason all kids toys are freakin' rounded, bubbley, and neon these days.

I think I'll see it just to see it in the theater. If it sucks, well, $15 down the drain.

Military theatre $6, big screen and all :)

Glad to see Randolph ain't gotten any highter than $9.50 when I left almost three years ago now... Maybe he meant $15 with his soda and popcorn? That sounds about right...
