Dawn of War

Post by Hudson »

I know someone asked about Dawn of War last night. I'm all for expanding peoples knowledge of the best table top and computer RTS universe ever.

Here is the intro movie from the game, which just rules:

And the website:

Gator, Vegeta, Buff, and myself have been playing this game over the last 3 to 4 months. A somewhat fast paced RTS, and addicting as heck. Look closely at my sig, one of the images is my Tau Commander with his warrior body guards. :D

Let me know if you're all gonna play. My Space Marines have been getting itchy trigger fingers.

Here's my mostly unpainted Space Marine Army. A few were AWOL for the picture, I found them after staring at it and saying that wasn't enough...

And here's my wife's. In her defense a lot of these were gifts right before her deployment so she hasn't even had a chance to put them together let alone paint them. I wish tyranids were in the video game too...

Expensive hobby isn't it? I have a Necron Army, but they are buried in a box somewhere. If I ever find the time to dig them out and display them, I'll take a picture and share it here.

i used to do miniatures way back in the day...but then PC gaming took over. still there is nothing comparable to a full size Napoleonic miniatures game in 15mm... i used to get paid to paint armies for folks.
