Dayum thing was designed to move mudd not stand off and be a sissy. Its surviveability is already high don't you think but hey what do I know right, and I thought th company that designed the thing went out of business and their parts reserve was almost depleted???

Yes, Fairchild Republic disappeared long ago. However, seeing as we generally have air superiority and the ability to suppress the longer range SAMs, the A-10 is well suited to deal with AAA and MANPADs. Fly low and be built like a tank. :)

Speaking of new military hardware, i've been watching Future Weapons on Sky a fair bit recently...some pretty funky stuff coming online...Firescout is pretty nifty, as is the Archer artillery piece...quite like the new rocket launcher for taking down buildings too!
