ok so I picked up the limited edition of Blade Runner. I watched final cut and the original '82 version last night. It has to be 15 years since I saw this flick....and it was still strange, dark and weird as I sort of remember. Final Cut is cleaner, and is a better version. There are no Lucus glaring errors like in the re-done Star Wars crap.
I can see how this movie was way outside of the box in '81-82 but dang to be honest.....I find the actual acting and dialog very lacking...hell it made the acting in Star Wars look great.
If your a Blade Runner fan then this limited edition is cool. And for about $50...its not a bad deal.
Now.....BSG Razor is next in the play list

Razor was good but not as good as I hoped. As for BladeRunner I just picked up the standard special edition disc (link below), buff you got the briefcase's one, (link also below). Don't buy the 50$ one unless you are a big blade runner fan, the 15$ gets you same movie just not as many extras. Personaly Bladerunner to me was good but not a OMG movie people made it out to be.
On another note watched WAR, and Shoot Em Up last 2 days, both just came out on DVD, and both surprised the hell out of me. WAR unlike most movies of its type actually had a good story line, usually I expect just lots of action which I also got. Then there is Shoot em up, literlay starts off with a gun fight and it dose not end, entire movie is just gun fight after gun fight. Just for the action its worth it as trust me you will get a kick out of some of the creative killing in this movie. Also story is actually not that bad, lot better then some in this kind of movie.

Different strokes for different folks I guess but I see it entirely differently. I think the performances by most of the actors were very good (especially Rutger Hauer) and I felt the dialogue was intelligent and engaging.Buffalo Six wrote: I can see how this movie was way outside of the box in '81-82 but dang to be honest.....I find the actual acting and dialog very lacking...hell it made the acting in Star Wars look great.
