BSG Space Shooter Game

Post by Gator »

** This is for those who aren't irrationally anti-console **

While this isn't exactly the newest of news, it is an update to a Feb "rumor" ...

BSG Top Down Space Shooter on XBLA

Keep in mind that XBLA titles are usually less than 200MB and $10. Sounds like it's coming this fall (hmmm, tied to the fall miniseries???)

I originally read that it was supposed to also be on PC, but I didn't see any references to the PC version recently, however it's a good bet that it will show up there as well.

For $10, it could be interesting.

I don't care so much about console, but the top-down thing doesn't sound promising.

that had me confused - I'm not sure what it even means for a space shooter. Anyway, on XBLA, all the games are try before you buy -- they all have trial versions. So, I'll likely try it.

Hmm..that one actually looks quite decent. Maybe along the same level of immersion as the XWing/Tie Figher games.

I played it for five minutes and imediately uninstalled it (they had a demo). Top down is a understatement, I wouldn't play this if they paid me to do it. Just imagine your standing on a see thru floor and there is BSG and your trying to protect but can't get to it.
