All I have is the Vietcong MP demo. But I would get the full version or MOH if there is interest.

I have Vietcong, the SP campaign is GREAT! I have only played COOP MP once with Bad Karma back when it first came out. I have not played it since the 1.2 patch, maybe I should look into it again. I am up for a game of Vietcong.

I have MOH:AA but not the expansion. I finished the SP campaign and haven't touched it since. I tried to get some interest in MOH:AA awhile back, but because it was Adversarial only, it didn't really take off.

RAVENSHIELD
We have been playing RvS the last couple of weeks with the 1.3 patch and have only had a few small issues on occasion. (CTDs, unable to join the server) But for the most part, it runs pretty good. I guess I have been lucky and not experienced any problems yet.

We have been playing RvS 1.3 for about a month now. Seems like a couple of issues the first week, then nothing the past three weeks.

i don't think there are that many issues with 1.3. last time we played it was pretty stable. our biggest issue is Kodiak not being able to reliably connect and play...I hope he tries a new dial up provider to see how that works.

i really like the OFP session we had last night. i think that would be a great alternative. it will grow on you Raptor... :) ;) as long as we do not do CTF too awful much - missions and campaigns.

I'm always up for playing GR. I invested a lot of money into it and I still think it's a solid, fun game. I will play GR or RVS anytime. Raptor you ought to give GR another try now that 1.3 patch is out. A little laggy at time, but not too bad. I have had a problem with bullet delay myself. But anyway, I will GR anytime you guys want. When MOH goes down in price, I'll probably buy that as well or trade for it on ebay.

I am pretty sure that Raptor has played RvS with the 1.3 patch. We have been using it for about a month now; I thought Raptor played RvS about 2 or 3 weeks ago and he still had the same problems with the shooting lag. Is that correct Raptor - or are you still at 1.2?

Softball and others have custom face graphics. Unless your real life face is like painted vomit, this might be of interest to you.

Faces

Post by Softball »

LMAO!!! Good one Madrus.

I am no longer using my custom face, something with the 1.91 patch screwed up the face alignment in the game. PV knows how to make the custom faces. Maybe he can work on some for us if we send him a picture?

the faces are a bit odd looking...i think it has to do with the underlying bone structure they are traying to replicate real faces with...

Does America's Army have MP Co-op Missions?

Last time I played it you had to join a server with a bunch of arcade style run and gun kids.

I would not mind trying AA again, as a squad.

I was reading that there is a new version of AA out, 1.90 (600MB). Not sure what it entails, but I was thinking about reinstalling it and checking it out. With almost everyone upgrading their computers lately, everyone should be able to run it and maybe we could all give AA a try as a squad, on our own server(If that's possible)?

Well, I am up for GR anytime - I bought the whole damn package B4 it came out as a set, so I too have put some money into the game. Biggest thing is, I now have a bigger set-up and it has gone a long way towards reducing lag and graphics issues for me, even @ 56K.
I am able to play somewhat better with RvS too, although I HAVE experienced the delayed firing problem - but in my case that is probably lag anyway. What I WILL say is that whilst playing I noticed that Raptor's connection was the next worst ping rate indicated (almost every time!) - maybe you should be looking at how well you are connecting Bri :?
As far as the ISP is concerned, I will be looking this week for an alternative - see what I find, eh!
What about BHD? Was that a bit of a flop as far as you guys who bought it are concerned?

I love BHD. It is terrific to play. it just does not have MP Co-op.

BHD

Post by Softball »

I concur, BHD is a great game, no coop missions. The coop mode is there in the mission editor, there were just no missions made with the games release that utilized the coop mode.

I haven't looked online lately, but maybe some kind sould has made some custom BHD coop missions since it was released? I will look into it.

As always, I'm up for some GR or RVS. I would invest in Flashpoint or MOH, but like Steel says, who has the time? I play IL2, RVS, GR, F4, and occasionally JF18...no time for anything else. sad.

I just tried the demo for "XIII" and man ... what action ... it's hard to see how it will be for multiplayer, but it's fast as hell.

It's a cell shaded action fps ... really stylish and lots of bang ...

I got the demo here ...
