Who says the Devil isn't funny?

Post by Grifter »

From Wikipedia trivia on Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast:

During the making of the album, record producer Martin Birch had been in an accident and crashed his car into one driven by a "religious nutter" on a rainy Sunday evening. When he got his car back from the mechanic the bill came back in the exact amount of £666.66. Birch, "terrified", demanded the bill be rounded up to £667. Also, the title track reached number 18 in the UK charts - the sum of three sixes. Other stories about various strange occurrences at the recording studio have circulated.

When I did this in high school......long story short....the dual quads were running fat as hell and ignited the fuel in the port and melted the air cleaner support which locked all 8 ports open and WOT.....this is where I ended up...

and guess what was playing on the tape player (way before the cd thing) ?

yep....Iron Maidens "666 the Number of the Beast" at full blast on 6x9 tri axles (lol...been a while since I have said that) and when the car stopped moving (after tear-assing thru a neighborhood at WOT, and loosing control and sliding thru some dudes lawn and into the creekbed......I sat there for a second as the car was still WOT and throwing a rooster tail of water, and there was the tape player...."666! The number of the Beast!, blh....blh..." It finially broke a valve and scragged the engine turning it into a boat anchor.

Yes I was voted in high school to be the most likely to die in a flaming car accident.

Strange coincidence? hmmm. Good picture Buff, you've posted that before and it's a damn shame about that car. Looks like a nice ride.
There is something....odd about that song...it seems to access something unnatural. There have been many like reports, but then again it could be just coincidence.
