Working out with my New BBQ

Tonight....its ribeyes that have been marinating in "Dales" since lunch.

Grill cover off, beer at the ready.....check!

Charcoal Chimney filled with a mix of Kingsford and real hardwood charcoal....Check!
Image

ignition....Check!

ignite grease in charcoal ash tray by mistake....Check!
Image

Wait for charcoal to get good and going.....Check!
Image

Add coals to BBQ....rake into a pile and add a hunk of mesquite....Check!
Image

neighborhood is hating me about now.....Check Check!
Image

Add ribeyes.....1 min per side with coals in high burn and tray in high position....Check!
Image

Turn after a minute.....Check!
Image

Move ribeyes to center of grill (medium zone) and lower coal tray to lowest....Check! 3 1/2 minutes a side....Check!
Image

Remove and eat ribeyes.....CHECK DAMNIT! Perfect medium rare....Check!

That's a heck of a BBQ. I don't think my Propane Grill can cook like that.

u know buff to a guy who dose not have access to a BBQ this is almost as bad as when you called hondo when u wher eon the beach with lobster

LOL....yes he was not amused when I called him from the lighthouse in Chatam, Mass while eating a Lobster poorboy...lol

**Veg starts looking at plain tickets to buffs place**

Actulay just did a quick look for kicks and giggles, leaving on a Friday commming back on a Monday and its 380$ total round trip to Kansas city which is somewhat close to you buff right. also checked its a 15 hr drive to Kansas city from detroit. I am sure I can cut a little time off that

Funny Buff, Sabre and I have visited that same lighthouse. Beautiful area.

KC is 3+ hours away....we have an actual airport here Veg, NW, Airtran, United, AA...all the usual suspects fly here...just not SW...dont ask, its a sore spot for us here

Hey Grifter, i have family that live in Orleans, and i spent a week out there in 05....ate lunch every day at the Chatam fish pier...the lady that runs the food shop...was like "Well Kansas...what are you having today?" LOL

I could not remember exactly where u lived of the top of my head so hey figured that would do for a number.

better check wichita....it cost more to fly in here for some reason
