look closer its general drop since the beginning.

Year 1 and 2 had about a 0.7 drop year 3 had only a 0.6 drop. Kind of sucks tho. I would love to see season 4 numbers so far

maybe that 7 month gap between 3/10/06 and 10/06/06 had somethign to do with it.....long gaps and you lose market share, only the diehards stay

not to mention the 12 month gap between 03/07 and 04/08

You bring up an excellent point Buff. Of course the most recent gap was partly due to the writers strike. Season 4 was supposed to start at the end of January.

um Buff that gap only showed a .1 drop not massive . Again chart that out its going to be a prity straight line drop from all episodes.

The end for me was New Caprica and although I was initially intrigued I really didn't care for the All Along the Watchtower thing. That turned out to be the proverbial last straw. The main thing, though, that keeps me from giving it another chance is that I never got attached to any of the characters. There's just nobody there that I like.

The New Caprica storyline really was a major artistic risk that the producers of the show took. I for one liked the end result of that risk but of course I know there are those fans who did not care for it. Ron Moore has said many times that he doesn't believe that a show should stay the same all the time and thus end up treading water.

Thank you Tach, I've never figured out why I could never really get into this BSG. I don't mind it being different, I actually like the grittier look and feel, however, I don't find myself rooting for any of the characters.

so can I but if it was man what a twist that would be lol PDT_Armataz_01_12 thats one thing I loved about the TV show called "the outer limits" not all storys ended with a faverable outcome for people, IE earth gets destroyed, or the peopel die and such. Tye where good at making u root for something only at the last second to say to bad na na na na. Something you would not see ina show like Battlestar, no way she could be the cylon as that would not be good for story.

I liked Colonel Tigh before I found out he was a skin job. I also might have liked one of those people who were blown away in the season opener. PDT_Armataz_01_03

I think Tigh is an even more interesting character now. Of course, Baltar has and always will be my favorite character.

I didn’t care for him for most of the series but , well , you got to admire Baltar these days. He’s getting some from a different woman every week. Okay , that and I’ve always had the hots for Sharon. If it were between her and 6 , I’d pick her. She was looking real good in that last episode.

Escape Velocity was a downer. The music was kind of depressing. Too bad about the Chief's wife being sucked out the launch shoot. I thought she was okay. The music in the Road Less Traveled was mesmerizing and the Chief is acting like he wants to.....

I watch them the day after or sometime a week later. I hope I’m caught up , the last one I saw was Faith . I wonder if their going to jump the base ship back to the Galactica fleet. That would make things interesting.

Bear McCreary has written some of the best tv music I've heard since Mark Snow and Christopher Franke.
