LOL DA. This is the final episode for THIS YEAR. The 2nd half of the season starts in Jan 2009.

Da tjhey are splitting the season into 2 relly, 1/2 2008 and 1/2 2009. I realy hate that crap as I expect to see 4.0 and 4.5 season packs costing almost as much each as a full season. Also means they got the show to hype up more for longer sort of thing.

That would be nice. Unfortunatey we'd have no Adm. Cain though. She was fantastic.

Wow, what a fantastic ending to the first half of season 4. The only annoying aspect is that no burning questions were really answered!

The tension throughout this episode was so incredibly tight.

I hope your talking about deleting from the TIVO cause thats what the hell I did. Who in the hell thought up the damn half season crap. What is the frackin point. You have all the episodes show them, but hey money is money. This half season will come out on DVD in about two months for the price of a full season and so on and so forth.

Actually, I believe the half season format thing is something the SciFi Channel demanded. I dont know if you've noticed, but the SciFi Channel has been changing a lot and they are showing more and more of those reality-type crap shows. BSG is one of the last good shows they still have so they want to stretch out the broadcast life for as long as possible.

Also, I read an article that mentioned that the majority of the money made by the show is through dvd sales and NOT tv ratings so that explains why they like to sell the half season boxed set format. Of course, season 3 is an exception since the entire season is available in one set.

I heard there was a different ending that was cut short. While they were on Earth they found out that the human race was wiped out by Aliens back in the 26th Century and this is all that remains of them , except their moon base that launched 5 Battle Stars out from the back side of the moon and Blew the SHIT outta that Cylon Base Star.
We're in the pipe , five by five.

They will probably rework that ending stretch it out and turn it into Razor 2.0. OK so what century are we in now on BSG?

Only Ron Moore knows the answer to that question. No hint of the year or era has ever been mentioned on the show. For all we know these events could have happened thousands of years ago.
