2nd Amendment Wins

Post by Buffalo Six »

After some of the other opinions rendered in the past 2 weeks....I was actually worried about the Heller vs. DC case. This ruling affirms the 2nd. I still cant believe we were/are 1 vote away from Marxism but I will take what i can get here.

If your into legal reading.....here is the 157 page decision written by Justice Antonin Scalia.....

http://www.scotusblog.com/wp/wp-content ... 07-290.pdf

I can just bet the left will cast this as a fractured, divided, activist, ideological lines decision but the 5-4 decision for granting non-affiliated, non-uniformed enemy combatants (i.e. jihadist-terrorists) habeas rights as a monumental, historic, slap in the face of a unpopular administration, the greatest thing since sliced cheese. And that sound you heard was left-wing lawyers stampeding to appeals courts for their Gitmo clients (any thought as to what thats going to cost us taxpayers?)

FFS Veg I provided a dang link.........

for those like Veg who are too lazy to actually look it up.......

Answering a 127-year old constitutional question, the Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to have a gun, at least in one’s home. The Court, splitting 5-4, struck down a District of Columbia ban on handgun possession.

even with the ban, it was a "murder capital" ... shootings everyday. It's not like the ban was effective as a shooting deterrent.

It's so bad there the NBA team dropped their old name "Bullets" in favor of the much less gun-sounding "Wizards?"

that's like up here in Canada they put in this rather restrictive gun registration system that went way overbudget and such. but who dose it hurt, um people who are honest and want to be good with the law. If I want to shoot someone guess what, I am going to steal or black marker buy a gun that can't be traced to me. Same crap happens in the Us ban something and people still get them. O and canada you can't have hand guns at all, but guess what is used in most shooting, you get 3 guesses and if you need more then 1 um ya you be dumb. Don't mind not being allowed to have hand guns but it hurts the valid legal people.

That would be cool if Texas would STOP Selling guns to the Mexican Drug Cartels. They just waltz across the border and buy a shit load of better guns then the Federally or Policia Then go back and shoot up their neighborhoods.
