first one not sure. THe seocond one looks like the warp envelope for the Enterprise. Judging by the special effects I'd say it was Search for Spock?

I've seen the first one somewhere, but can't place the name. Dune maybe?
The second one, hmmmm, Babylon 5?

What scene is that in Dune. I don't recall that? Course, I've only seen the four hour version once or twice.

You see it twice in the film. First time is when the Guild Navigator is folding space when Leto, Jessica and Paul are in their ship and the 2nd time is near the end of the film during the sequence of visions after Paul had taken the Water of Life.

Ok, here's a clue for the 2nd screenshot: Kurt Russell.
By the way Veg, what's an "odisy"? Good thing you went into the IT field and not public education! LOL

Stargate?
Nah, too obvious. I'm going with 'The Giant Semi-translucent CD from Outer Space'. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Actually, SG-1 refers specifically to the tv show. It would simply be "Stargate". ;-)

Tom(ay)to, Tom(ah)to. At least someone got it.
I was also thinking it might be The Last Starfighter. Ah well.
