Un-freaking-believable! I was literally clapping at my desk when he was talking about some of the changes in SC2. Let's see here...
- More upgrades for the ACU:
- JUMP JETS!! I was just talking about this the other night, seriously.
- Artillery. Oh hell yes!!!
- Escape Pod to avert death. Way cool.
- Core Dump to prevent the ACU from going Nuclear.
- 3D Battlespace, using the Z-Axis. Very nice.
- Upgradable (on the fly) units!! This is HUGE!! No longer are the Tech 1 units useless near end game.
They also talk about having over "25" experimental units in the game. And if you watch the video preview in the link above, you will see a C-1000 Gunship (ala C-130 Gunship). Ummmm yea, that's freaking BAD ASS!!
I so cannot WAIT for SC2 to come out now. Just when I thought they raised the bar with SC1, this is leaps and bounds above SC1. I really really hope they add more 6 to 8 player maps.
