I just ordered the entire BSG series boxed set on bluray for $209 from Amazon. IMHO, that is a great price and its slated for release on the 28th. I have a feeling that price will go up after its released so if you are interested get it now.

It has "Razor" and "Caprica". Obviously it doesn't have "The Plan" since that wont even air on tv until this Fall.VEGETA wrote: so are all the movies and everythign in it, got to find the compelate list of its contents

Yes it does have the mini-series and yes, the season 1 set on standard dvd also includes the mini-series.VEGETA wrote:dose it also include the original mini series that the series itself comes from. not even sure that is in the dvd sets

So I watched the miniseries on bluray this weekend and I can happily say that the picture quality is excellent and looks a heck of a lot better compared to the standard dvd. Keep in mind that you will see some graininess in some scenes but that was intentionally put there by the creators in order to give the miniseries a bit of the documentary feel to it. The biggest noticeable difference was in the purely CGI space battles and they did indeed look stunning.

They are indeed backwards but I'm happy to say that the arms and wrists swivel so that can be corrected. I think they come backwards in the packaging so that the figurine will fit more easily inside the plastic.Gator wrote:I like the little pose-able cylon that ships inside also. I think his forearms are on backwards tho. It's hard to tell since they don't stand still on the tv show much.
