I had a tad bit of a problem when I tried to go and see the new Quentin Tarantino movie, from saturday night into sunday morning the lower right quadrant of my abdomen hurt but by mid day sunday it was almost on fire and at 12:01 am monday morning I was in NorthWestern Memorial Hospital emergency surgery having it (my appendix) removed.
I just got home today and man do I hurt, I forget sometimes how important your core is in everyday life. Hell even when you go to dump!!!

Had mine out in 1978. Went to bed with a slight back ache, which got worse and worse as the night went on. Next morning I was in straight up agony. The doctors at the small local hospital finally gave me something for the pain and were going to keep me for a while for observation, but mom came in and said like hell you are and took me to Ephraim McDowell, where old Dr Caldwell took one look at me and said "To the operating room!" He said later that my appendix was on the verge of rupturing.
But that wasn't the end of it. Sometime later, after having the stitches removed, the incision developed an abscess. The doctor said to keep a hot compress on it and come in first thing Monday morning. I was out of it for the entire weekend, laid out on the couch too sick to move. Then, Monday morning while sitting in the car outside the doctor's office, I suddenly felt much better. Much, much better. Instantly! I was like, wtf... and then I noticed the green slime oozing through my shirt...
The thing had popped open. Well. The doctor looked it over and says, ah hah, there's what got it infected - a leftover stitch! So he took some forceps, poked them into the hole that had opened in the parking lot, and proceeded to dig around for the stitch...

Eh. What's a lil minor exploratory surgery with forceps and no anesthesia? FREAKIN PAINFUL, that's what. Heh. It soon healed up and all was well. But...
I was out of school for around a month, wound up getting an F in typing, and the girl I'd asked to the prom hooked up with some other guy. She still went to the prom with me, but damn.

Hey thats how they did it in the olden days. Just grab an instrument and start to poking around in there. Why did u take her on the prom after she hooked up with somebody else. I hope she put out for you atleast?
On a side note my wife made me go to a walkin facility on sunday and they made me go to a emergency room and by the time they operated that thing had about an hour or two before it blew.
