i think the 5870 would be just fine for me. i am actually checking to see if our product manager can get me one cheap or as a free sample. :) that would be cool.

I've had a good experience with my 5870. I haven't had any issues with any game -- all cranked to max settings (that's why we game on PCs, right?) I think the thing I love most is how quiet it is. After my rig with the 295 sounded like a B-52, comparatively, this new rig sounds like an electric RC toy. And that's with 6 hard drives spinning too.
