Has anyone here ever seen Zardoz? I watched this for the first time a couple days ago and really liked it even though it was weird as heck!

Heh , seeing how Grifter is intelligent more than not , I figured that he would have said something like .

Quote:
There are three kinds of people, Mr. Pizer. The wills, the won'ts and the can'ts. The wills accomplish everything, the won'ts oppose everything and the can'ts won't try anything.

There are old pilots and there are bold pilots, but there are very few old, bold pilots

Inquiry

Animated Science Fiction film that came out within the last few years.

A colony ship leaves a doomed Earth traveling several hundred years looking for another habitable planet. It finally finds one , but it is already inhabited with another alien species. The council decides to transform the planet to make it an Earth like planet anyway. One fighter pilot gets shot down and is brought back to health by one of the aliens who is a little girl. The pilot also has a computer flying droid that helps her along and begins to under stand the aliens language.

Later the pilot gets rescued and goes back to the colony ship only to prepare for another assault on the planet that will lead to an all out war with the aliens. The planet terra forming machine lands and starts to change the planets atmosphere while the battle rages on , and just before it succeeds , the pilot fly’s his jet craft into the terra forming machine and blows it up , killing him self in the process , yet saving the day for the alien race. At the end of the movie the earth colony has landed on the planet and an atmospheric dome was used to surround their city. Also a tall statue was built to honor the fighter pilot who made it all possible.

I cant remember the name , but it was just recently that this movie came out. I’m also not sure if it was a Disney production or not. I’ve been trying look for it on the internet , yet haven’t had any luck yet. Any clue as to what movie this is? Thanks for the help.

Falker, sounds like a spin on Enemy Mine.

As for quotes, you chose one from the mad scientist, and so yes I enjoyed that one.
