Mass is a long established Blue State. If I'm not mistaken, Reagan was the last Republican President to carry Mass in a Presidential election.

I was mainly amused with how the above clip is so versatile.....

Yes...big win and now maybe we can actually get the congresscritters to slow down and use their damn heads (on both sides) and not doom our future in a "Thelma and Louise" holding hands thingy and driving off the cliff.

one thing you gotta admit - the US system is designed for gridlock. It's built so that it's extremely difficult for anything really substantial to happen unless it really is universally wanted.

I think that's a good thing because it means the powers of the Federal government are in balance with the powers of the States. After all, that's the essence of the Constitution. :-)
