This is fricking hilarious and also so true. Anyone familiar with Tim Burton's films will immediately know what is going on here. :-)

I saw Alice in Wonderland over the weekend, and I have to say, it was the one of the most overhyped movies (ala Transformers 2) I have seen in a while. It was nothing special really, just a different twist to the original story with some popular actors.

Unfortunately we did not see the IMAX 3D or digital 3D version, so the movie seemed a bit dark and fuzzy (Although it could have been the theater) on the screen. It was like watching a 480p movie on a 1080p TV; I was not impressed at all. It really made me appreciate spending the extra $5 for an IMAX theater ticket. I'm really beginning to think Rottentomatoes.com is right on the money with their reviews.

re: the 3D ... I read that it wasn't actually filmed in 3d, but that it was processed later, so the 3D effect was not supposed to be that good. Underwhelming is the word I heard on the 3D.

It was still a good movie. Not a block buster or anything, but still better than a lot of the crap released these days.
