Wow! What a frakking cool game. I can't believe I waited so long to play it. It has a great storyline, gorgeous graphics, and has lots of toys to play with. "Detective Mode" is one of the coolest features I have seen in a game; it's kind of like having x-ray vision. Unfortunately, the game 3rd person only, but you get use to it after a while. The cast of characters is great too, so far I have seen or heard The Joker, Harley Quinn, and The Riddler (Voice only). There are little side quests such as solving The Riddlers puzzles, and finding hidden items relating to The Riddler.
If you can find this game cheap, I highly recommend getting it. It's kind of like Tomb Raider in terms of gameplay, but with more toys to play with. The hand to hand combat is very well done, with slow-motion animations when you complete a certain combo attack. It's a little Max Payne-ish, but without being able to control the slow-motion; it just happens during the fight.

if it wasn't 3rd person you wouldn't be able to see how cool it is to BE Batman. It is awesome. I have it for PS3, but from what I've read, it's one of the most careful, well-done PC conversions ever made. The PC controls are supposed to be superb.
