Supreme Commander 2 Build and Research Order (vs. Computer)

Had a lot of fun playing last night. Though I'd share my build and research orders and see what others do, so maybe we can take on those hard computers more effectively.

Normally what I do with the 10 minute rush timer we play with is is go directly to the structures research tab and purchase Build Cost and Build Time immediately. I build out all Mass Extractors on my plot of land immediately, follow by 6 Power Reactors and 3 Research Stations. As soon as Research Income and Mass Income are purchasable I grab them. This likely won't be but 5 minutes into the game.

You now need to anticipate which direction attacks are going to come from. This is normally pretty easy, so what I do is build a line of 8-10 Heavy Point Defenses. While this is going I am waiting to research Health and Shield Generator. Once I have Shield Generator I immediately pump out three of these just behind my line of point defenses along with 5-6 Heavy Anti-Air Towers and a Radar Station.

From here I usually abandon the structure research satisifed that I can hold off at least a few waves of enemy attack and turn to Air. you probably still have time to Research Veterancy -> Build Cost -> Build Time while waiting for the timer to run out after getting Mass Income, meaning that getting the Air Fortress is just about within grasp and the battle hasn't even begun yet.

kinda the same as i do, but as evidenced by my scores at end of game i really suck - especially when compared to Ghost and Softball. I am pretty sure i am quite a bit behind you Hudson and Gator as well in scoring.
