Looks like the alien ship from Alien is in this - the one in which the crew of the Nostromo found the xenomorph eggs and the dead alien 'pilot'.

Yes, the derelict alien ship containing the "Space Jockey". This WILL be a must-see movie for me next year.

Read the Wikipedia page. Ridley Scott apparently made the comment that it is linked to the Alien franchise which confused many people. But it does in fact take place in the Alien universe and it does appear it is the Space Jockey ship. I think they tried to explain that he meant it will not contain any of the characters from the Alien movies and will not carry the Alien name in any way. They mention in the Wikipedia page that he wanted to work on Alien stuff until they did the AvP stuff...

Right. "Prometheus" will take place in the same universe as Alien but it will still have its own self-contained story that is separate from Alien/Aliens. Either way, this film will rock.
