LOMAC Leather bound manual!!!

Post by Nemisis »

I guess by now most of you will have read about the Leather bound LOMAC manual that is going to be available.

http://www.biohazcentral.com/article.php?24.0

It really looks the dogs bollocks and is more than just a print out of the PDF manual that will ship with the game.

306 pages (206 in full colur).
· Transparent 5 section tab dividers give quick and easy access to sections
· 70 page additional training section by Mark 'Shepski' Shepheard.
· 120 page recognition section detailing all the air / ground and naval units in the game.
· All enclosed in a Polyurethane 'leather' triple fold, 4 ring binder.

Prices are £22 british pounds or $45 for US customers, higher price in USA due to shipping costs i believe, but i have heard that there is an option for OL Squad bulk buys that will reduce the shipping costs, As most of you guys including myself look like your going to get a copy of LOMAC i thought you might be interested in a proper manual for it as well.

I have emailed the company in question and asked them about this option and i am waiting for a reply.

Will let you guys have the full low down as soon as i have more details.

Please post if you would be interested in this, i know i am since trying to learn a new flight sim when the only manual is in the damm game disc is a nightmare, better you have it at your side when playing the game so you can just pause the game and read up on what you need to know then restart the game.

thought some of you might be interested.

I am interested in getting a printed manual - whether it is leather bound or not, i am not as sure. i would probably prefer the "leather" one, not because of the material, but because it would be better quality printing and would be double sided and probably smaller than the printed pdf pages.

But it probably depends more on whether or not I like the game in the first place.

Nic Cole, the guy in charge of the leather manual, replied to me about my query on OL Squadrons buyng in bulk and posted his proposal on the LOMAC general forum for all Squadrons that are interested here is jis post on the site::

If any squadrons want to bulk order, they will get a discount and the inside front cover will have their squadron logo inserted on the front page.

Shipping will also be lower as we will bulk ship to one point only.

see http://www.lomac-manual.com/manual.htm

bottom picture will say something like 'Enhanced Manual'

XXX squadron edition with your insignia

Come on squadrons, one Dutch sqaudron has ordered 34 copies.

You will need to pay in one bulk payment and have one person resposible for the order..

Just thought you might like to know about this update.

I am a bit surprised that they haven't thought of LOMAC T-shirts, coffee mugs, keyfobs, caps, sweatbands, sweatshirts, customized Cougar joysticks, sportsdrink, toilet seat, .....
