Aileeen Sophia Fritz, 8 lbs., 20.5" was born on 16 June, 2014 at 2343.

everyone is doing well now, but she was in the ICU for 7 days after birth. Nidia and Aileen had a fever immediately after birth, so the protocol is to go into Neonatal ICU for a 2 or 7 day course of antibiotics. Lucky us it was 7.

we lived at the hospital for 7 days, luckily they gave us a room for the last 5 (Nidia was discharged on second day) so we could stay there.

All good now, just gotta get used to the new life.

Congrats man! im sorry you had to go threw the hospital wait, we had something similar with our oldest kid. it was nerve racking having to wait. im so glad that part is over and you guys are back home and all is well! yea its a BIG change. but, its one i enjoyed and im sure it will be the same for you.

thx guys. just trying to figure out how this baby works. gas, spit up, burping, etc. getting less sleep, and Nidia is getting even less. but things are settling down now.
