New Aviation Museum in DC (sorta)

Post by Gator »

Hey all,

Last week, I went to the new Udvar-Hazy Center of the Air and Space Museum outside DC. Let me say that it was awesome.

Just to get your attention, they have the actual space shuttle Enterprise, a Concorde, the Enola Gay, an SR-71, a MIG-15, F-86, MIG-21, F-4, A-6, JSF, SA-2, Boeing 707, Boeing 307 and many other full/actual aircraft.

If you're in the DC area or Northern Virginia, you can't pass this up. If anyone's in the area, let me know and I'll tour the place again with you. The museum just opened last week and basically contains all the "artifacts" that the National Air and Space museum on the mall can't hold.

Gator, my dad and I were planning to visit it sometime before I go back to Daytona. Seems like an interesting place.
