I can assume we need to DL the Maps packs again? I will see if I can get everything RE-installed tonight.

With Iron Wrath being our main concern, installing the map packs would not be on my must do list. We will most likely play IW and that's that.

The IW maps ain't too shoddy mate, and I think there's one or two originals re-vamped too, not sure.

Ok, I bit the bullet and got RvS re-installed last night. I installed ALL of our map packs, and the IW expansion. Played through a few of the IW maps, some are from the original RS series. There is also a Space Shuttle map that is similar to the one in the maps pack, just looks a little different. The Ghost Town map is pretty cool, you gotta check that one out. There is a setting sun on one side of the map, so if you are facing the sun, it's a Pain In The Ass to see where the baddies are.

Out of about (5) Terrorist Hunt missions I played, I completed (1). Man do I need practice. I think I played on the lowest difficulty too, because the terrorists were pretty stupid. Only really shot at me after I shot at them. Not that I'm complaining, but ummm yea.

I'm just going to install RvS, AS, and IW. I think that should suffice for now! Maybe I'll get it done tonight even...or not...

OK, so i am all installed and patched.

When I run the game, i set the resolution to 800x600 and everything else on medium -- so why do I get about 1 frame/sec? What am I missing here? I'm not having any trouble with any other games and newer games run fine at much higher resolution and detail levels ...

Hmmmm...

What driver version are you running? ATI card right? I am running the 5.8s I believe.

The install method I used was:

RvS
AS (Patch 1.54 automatically installed from the AS CD)
Patch 1.0-1.6 for RvS
Patch 1.0-1.1 for AS
IW
WOF Map packs

Try reinstalling your video drivers, sound drivers, and DirectX 9.0c, maybe something got corrupted on your install.
