Thermo brain scramble

Post by Sabre »

exactly, Gator.
Sometimes there are things in these classes that you just don't fully understand until you're in the next set of classes. Maybe this is one of those things for me. I'm just not quite there.

Well, on to studying for finals... what a life.

I recently read the following:
Thermodynamics is a funny subject. The first time you go through it, you don't understand it at all. The second time you go through it, you think you understand it, except for one or two small points. The third time you go through it, you know you don't understand it, but by that time you are so used to it, it doesn't bother you any more.

The original question was by how much does the room cool, and since it actually heats up, it cools down by a negative value.
A heating value would be +ve, a cooling value would be -ve. 8)

Have her check out Wikipedia, I googled thermodynamics and they have a wealth of knowledge there. A friend of mine just died from Pancreatic cancer, she was diagnosed last month and she past away last week. I learned more than I cared to know from that site about that cancer so everyone please get your pancreas checked once or twice a year and if you get steady symptons of stomach pain and abdomen problems get your pancreas checked, the mortality rate is in the high 90 percentile, all because it displays common symptons tricking all parties involved that its stomach problems or small and or large intestine issues but once the real problem shows its then to late and your days are numbered.

A message from the Surgeon General.

Strange, I always hate to talk about the bloody problem. Sorry, it makes me feel like if I DO say too much I'll hex myself. Silly, but I guess for me that is the scar I will carry. Unlike many others who suffer badly with treatment, I had a seemingly trouble-free treatment. Yes, I did have a very serious blood infection which was real bad. And yes, I did have that one fortnight of terrible pain and discomfort - I was doing hell knows how much tramadol during that phase, but didn't feel like it was helping really. I spent that entire two weeks curled-up in a ball on the floor of the bedroom trying not to feel sorry for myself.
Anyway, much as I don't like to talk much about all that. I cannot advocate what DA says enough. I check myself almost everytime I take a shower. It's paranoia, but there is a level of necessity there too for personal sef-assurance. The one time I didn't just let it slide was the time I probably saved my life.
