Laptops and Water

well you know, i don't see why they should get away with basically screwing people around, insulting people by questioning their honesty etc. I mean, come on...if i wanted to defraud someone, the last ppl i choose would be the people who supplied my PC...the National Lottery maybe, but not the PC folks

The thing that gets me...
In all my dealing with this company, the thing that gets me most, is that they have ultimately provided me with pretty much NO compensation for their fucking about with regards to losing the laptop for two weeks and shipping it via Bob's Twelve Week Intercontinental Rowboat Shipping Services along with the accusations of my dishonesty about sending the laptop in the first place, as if I were trying to defraud them.
In the beginning they made no effort to locate the laptop, called me a liar, POOF it appeared, and they just dropped it, like they never said a cross word to me. No verbal apology, NOTHING.
Ultimately I got 10% off of the repair cost for all their screw ups, once I wrote a complaint letter and the right person got ahold of it. It was a little something for the extra two week wait I had to suffer at the time. I wasn't happy with it, but at least it was something. Now I get 10 extra weeks of shipping (if they had done it my way I would have had it in less than two weeks; there's takes 12 weeks)
It's time to start carting over the free stuff, refunding all my money and calling our customer/company relationship quits, or at least make some effort to right the wrong with a loaner. I will not be happy with the first or last options, as it still leaves me with an Alienware laptop I will want to f'ing smash, but at least I will have the computer I paid for.
Really all I want from them is all my damn money back. They can keep their bloody shite.

Very Funny
I like this one better:
I don't know HOW it is here, considering I have an e-mail specifically stating that it would take 10-12 months to get here (not up to, but between 10-12 weeks), and that is what they told me when I last talked to them, but it is here.
And here are the 3 computers that make up my other 5.03 GHz of computing power here on Okinawa.
Maintaining a network consisting of a printer, wireless router, and four computers each running a different OS interoperating all happy gives me something to do here. Actually I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't have the same in the states; it would just be a little prettier and more hidden away, so that upon first walking into my house you wouldn't suspect I was such a hopeless freak. The only thing I'm missing is my poor negelcted Sun Ultra 5 back home.
Did I mention that my wife condones this, and is proud to tell everyone that the computers out number us over three to one in our house? I don't know how I ended up so lucky as to marry such a wonderful woman. She loves games too, especially First Person Shooters. Maybe if we all get into GR3 or another similar she will play with WoF.
I met her at the college roleplaying (as in Dungeons and Dragons) club while eating my Taco Bell back at college one day. Need I say more?
