Christmas Lights

Christmas Lights

Any one put up their Christmas Lights yet this year? Well I did. I got a jump on the neighbors today installing the lights in my driveway and up on the garage while watching NFL football. Than I ran down to Wall Mart , I wanted to get me some icicle lights but my GF said that's old hat , so I bought one of those fancy colored sets with 16 different functions. “ Then “ my friend comes over here and tells me that Big Lots ( penny store ) has them lights for half off. Oh well, Nice day though. It’s good to be out side with 60f weather , feels like bloody fall weather around here. A little nippy.
We're in the pipe , five by five.

a chance for our US brethren to enjoy not one, but two turkey dinners per year...that's just cheating.
Though we have dibs on Bonfire night :)

NA NA NA NA I beat you both. In Canada, we have thanks giving (about 1 month before the US, spreads the turkey out over the year) and where I am from in Newfoundland, we have Guy Fawkes/Bone fire night as well. If I remember correctly it is the only place in North America that this is actualy celebrated. tho newfoundland celebrates it because he tried to blow up Parliament building,s not to celebrate his capture PDT_Armataz_01_01 . and to top it off, I was in Canada for the Canadian thanks giving and now I am in the US during the Us thanks giving, double turkey and holiday days O baby.

Quite right Moose. Though, we here who represent the west and east coast of the states do have our fair share of beach bonfires now and then. Nothing, I'm sure that migh tcompare to your Bonfire evening though.
