I just find them but I admit this alone would be good enough reason for someone NOT FOX to pick this series up again. I know the people have moved on and some are appearing in a new series already.

Most interesting point is it literally WHOOPEd star wars, guess Lucous really ticked people off with his new # 1 2 and 3 movies lol

That's a bunch of crap. I'm sure the voting was highly skewed because of all the Browncoats who voted in droves.

Don't get me wrong, "Serenity" is a very good sci-fi movie but you cant tell me that it beats out classics like "Aliens", "Alien", "Empire Strikes Back" and "Blade Runner".

This poll is a perfect example of a recent movie getting a disproportionate amount of the votes. I bet a ton of the people who voted had never even watched or heard of "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Dune" or "2001".

Well I will admit Serenty will have a hard time stacking up there YEt as its not relay been out that long. Something needs time to become a classic and such. BUt I will toss it a life line, its been on HBO and for rent and such, and what I hear its relay doing will in CD sales and rentals. Take the austion power, it did honorable in theaters but its DVD sales where massive and they said we will make more. May be the same here, as I do think this movie dose deserve to rank. Maybe not top but it should be up there in my eyes.

Also most of these votes don't deal with older classics as people have forgot them or are to young to have seen them as a big thing. they think newer, I am surprised the apes movie made the lsit tho I personly was never impressed with planet of the apes at all. Its good but not what I would call a great movie but say Bladerunner especially the original not the directors cut which is unfortunately the only version you can buy.

I think the Directors Cut is much better. It gets rid of the "happy ending" and also the uneccessary Harrison Ford voice-over where he gives just way too much explanation of the plot. In other words, the Directors Cut version is truer to the Phillip K Dick short story.

to be honest I find that the directors cut DRAGS on and on compared to the stock version, and I do like having the voice over. I must admit the ending of the directores cut is great. I think a little of both mixed would be great, a trimmed down voice over while ending of directores cut and it would be perfect.
