Sci-Fi Channel has been showing season 3 marathons from time to time. Check out the schedule on their website.

I bought a complete BSG box set. I downloaded and watched the first couple of episodes of season one to see what it was like, liked what i saw and went out to see what was available on DVD.

First shop i went to had the complete Seasons one, two and three including the mini series (ie the start of the story) all for £45 thats $90 to you Americans, can't believe your getting charged $50 for just one season, Yikes! and i thought American stuff was supposed to be super cheap compared to Uk stuff.

Anyway I am halfway through Season 2 at the moment (so no spoilers please) and it is great, but IMHO BSG seems to have a very very strong religious streak in it, which I find a bit too strong and especially since it is the Cylons that are the Uber religious ones and their TOASTERS! (I just love that nickname).

Apart from that it's Fantastic series, not as good as B5 but it does fill the gap.

Will need to try and get hold of the Original.

Where do I Pre-order? Can't wait to watch Season 3 again on DVD.

I'm currently re-watching "Firefly", man what a great show. I'm going to watch "Space Above and Beyond" next. :)

If you recall though, Babylon 5 also has some very strong religious themes to it but of course it never made any allusions to the audience whether or not one alien or human religion was superior to another one. It's very much the same thing with BSG. The Colonials have their polytheistic religion and its presented in the show as one aspect which unites them. As with any real life human society, you will always have controversy and debate over conflicting religious interpretations and I think BSG is great at showing that. It's all part of letting the audience know that the Colonials are just as flawed and can be just as petty are real people. There is no Star Trek utopia here.

Ah yes, the Resistance webisodes. I watched those off the Sci-Fi website a couple weeks ago. They are pretty good!
