RIP Majel Barrett - Roddenberry

She was the first 'Number One', Nurse Chapel, M'Ress, Lwaxana Troi, and the voice of the Enterprise computer - and wife of Gene Roddenberry.

Barrett died on December 18, 2008 at her home in Bel-Air, Los Angeles, California as a result of complications from leukemia. She was 76.

I didn't realize that she was so much younger than Gene Roddenberry who died at age 70 in 1991.
