Steel Beasts revisited

Post by Hammer »

How many folks own this sim? Please reply...

If enough, would command entertain the creation of a new unit - the 1st Cavalry Division? Or we could go smaller and just do a Regiment, my soft spot is for an alma mater (so to speak), the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. We could also do one of the seperate Armored Brigades such as the one at Ft. Knox (yes, I was in that one too) that is part of the RDF. 1st Armored Division (yes, another one...!) or a part of it is also a posibility. Any other ideas?

Hmmm....Treads of Fury??? :D Maybe Beasts of Fury...

Sheez Steel, I did'nt know you were a tank man. Hard to figure that when you fly so well, they seem to be totally different worlds. Maybe I'll d/l the demo when I'm back from NH and check it out.

Are we gonna get together for some SB action soon? I have never tried SB in MP, but I have heard it does very well. I am looking forward to getting together in this. Please post when is a good time. If we have some time this Friday night(After OFP), I would like to test it out.

Let me know...

I have been playing some, trying to get up to speed. I tackled the Leo first, being German and all...:) We also have a new guy in ELH that plays MP/designs scenarios for SB so I am trying to hook up with him as well... Seems we will have a turnout...when we finally get to connect. If any of you are ready to try MP, get together and then you can perhaps talk the rest through the MP connection thingie...

I'm going to try the demo tonight to make sure I want to spend the $25 the "gold" edition will cost. Anyone know if the demo is MP-able? I'd be interested in seeing how it goes.

demo is not MP... you might look on e-bay or at EB for a used copy of the original as well... The patch to the gold code is free...
