Lucky to be alive

Post by PanzerMeyer »

This morning while going to work on the Florida's Turnpike, a black Mustang about 20 feet behind me somehow lost control and spun out and then the rear of the car smashed into the median. By some amazing luck, the oncoming traffic behind him managed to slow down enough and avoid hitting him. I saw the whole thing in my rear-view mirror. The driver of the Mustang then proceeded to get BACK on the road and I saw him chase down a white van and he then started to cuss out the driver as he made motions with his arm. Apparently he thought the driver of the white van is the one who caused him to spin out.

Anyway, I cringe to think of what might have happened had I been behind this guy when he lost control.

The big cities in Canada are just as bad, but out in the small towns like Med Hat and such, it's an absolute joy, the way people treat each other with respect - whether road user or pedestrian.

Panz, there are many ways to measure the 'size' of a city.
